Everyone, I have a B.S. in Electronics Engineering & Technology from DeVry. I am currently pursuing my MBA from Baker University in Overland Park, KS. I want to pursue my PhD in Organizational Management however there are no schools here that offer that program in a classroom style setting. However, Univ. of Phoenix has it. Can anyone comment on online classes Vs. classroom style classes.

Although Capella University is not AASCB-accredited business school, they do offer a PhD in Organization and Management. Marie

Jackson, Did you decide to pursue your doctoral at University of Phoenix? If so, how is your experience? Does anyone have feedback on the UOP Management in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Information Systems and Technology?

Hello everyone. I earned an MBA from University of Phoenix in 2007. I'm currently researching a Ph.D. program in Information Systems. Does anyone have exposure or direct experience with Walden University? Thanks for your time.

I am writing this as a former department head and business school dean. Over the years I have seen (and heard my colleagues speak of) applications from doctoral candidates from online universities and the likes of the U. of Phoenix. We simply will not hire their products. Bottom line: you are getting a second (or lower) tier degree and you will be very, very disappointed in the results of your search and career growth. Do not let them tell you differently! Recommendation: stay with the traditional doctoral programs only at AACSB accredited schools. Remember basic brand management.
