I am considering beganing a PhD program but due to working the full-time job and the possibility of full-time classes have me facing a few obstacles. I live in Illinois in the Chicago Suburbs and need to find a PhD Management program which will allows me to do the part time or online.

I totally understand your situation. I am single, have a professional salary, mortgage and racked up other debt so I understand the need to work. However, if you want to be taken serious and really do what a doctorate in Business prepares you to do, you'd seriously need to think about working out some things so that you can do full-time study. It will pay off for you a lot in the end. Good luck.

I am writing this as a former department head and business school dean. Over the years I have seen (and heard my colleagues speak of) applications from doctoral candidates from online universities and the likes of the U. of Phoenix. We simply will not hire their products.
Bottom line: you are getting a second (or lower) tier degree and you will be very, very disappointed in the results of your search and career growth. Do not let them tell you differently!
Recommendation: stay with the traditional doctoral programs only at AACSB accredited schools.
Remember basic brand management.
