To be fair he never have should have had to retake it, either that or the second one he missed should have been retaken, no difference on either as far as the 'encorachment' went! Not sure why Keano was starman, but i suppose noone really stood out! ice finishes from Defoe, it was always going to happen weren't it! He still won't start Sunday though |

Yeah, heard last night that he was going to sign today. Probably go & watch them on tuesday night. Hopefully get some regular football, do well & maybe have the loan extended. |

He has joined Torquay on a months loan deal, he is starting tomorrows game at kiddiminster! They have a home game on tuesday against Weymouth! Is there enough intrest with you guys and freinds to try and fill a coach to the game. |

yes but defoe is so much better than bent. i think berbatov and defoe would be your best combo. a bit like the old bergkamp/wright partnership. |

Don't think Defoe is so much better than Bent - Bernt offers so much more, but Defoe is deadly in and around the box I gotta say, however strange it seems to have a player of Defoes quality on the bench - I agree with Jol's selection! |

Defoe's mustard, he should be the first name in any side! For his own career he needs to move, agree with the comparisons of him and Ian Wright! I'd love Defoe at liverpool!! |

ive always rated defoe. a real goalthreat. i would be very happy if wenger signed him in january. i heard that hes an arsenal fan aswell, so is bent. |

He's not a team player though - he's hardly ever set-up his strike partner for a goal! Keane & Berbatovs link play is quality Think Defoe's a Gooner! Though Bent and family were Yids? May be wrong! I know Defoe and Bent are good friends |

agree that Keane & Berbatovs link play is better but you need a goalscorer. defoe would have scored some of those chances that you created against us. especially the bet chance. |

Yeah a bit, we beat them last year 4-3 i think. Will be good to see a couple of our ressies in action. I've got LFC TV at my parents house and last night they had action from our ressies game last wk against Wigan, that left winger Sebastion Leto looked quality!! |
