JD	posted 1/7/08 9:54 AM Yeah it was good cheers! No didn't beat Upton, lost 3-1! We were 3-0 down within the first 20mins or so, so didn't really give ourselves much of a chance!! You have a good one?? As for Berba, i think its obvious he wants to go, but i can only see Spurs letting him go for silly money!

J-Ro	posted 1/11/08 10:30 AM lee marked him out of the game until that cack goal. yes i did mate - stood right at the front - could hardly see what the f*ck was going on from there - good view for spurs attacking in the first half - didnt see much action in the 2nd half. Enjoy tomorrow - should be a win! Roll on the 2nd leg - surely surely beat you...but bad feeling that had the chance to go 1 or 2 goals up & missed it. Got to say Spurs really hurried & hassled the arsenal players putting them off their stride.... Deserved to win just like we did in the league. No luck.

I sat on row 7 (behind the goal Jenas scored in) against Wigan last season and coulden't see a thing down the other end. I'm in row 27 2morrow so the view should be a little better. Was there any trouble after the game?
J-Ro	posted 1/11/08 12:56 AM As i walked past gooners on the way to the stadium i heard some saying they'd been some trouble. As I left - was in the stadium for 15 mins after full time waiting - went outside & 1 bloke was on the floor having been dragged down by police... Police just formed a barrier but my brother & i calmly walked through it & wandered off. My seat was right next to the arsenal fans - hated it! One bloke sat 5 seats away kept goading the gooners & tried to get at him - eventually riot police arrived with a camera videoing the supporters - I was well behaved despite having 5 pints at Ł3.30 inside the ground just before kick off!

gooner4ever	posted 1/14/08 3:12 PM Awful mate. I sat one seat away from the stewards separating both sets of fans (just like you the other night. They were giving us loads of abuse throughout the game and 99 per cent of the fans near me just took it. I stood up and started singing and was told by a dirty Brumie to "sit down harry potter" At the end of the game, they celebrated like they had won the european cup. Apart from the 90 mins, the day was good. must have sinked about 5 pints before the game had even started. was actually hoping spurs would get a point.

At Goodison we sang for the whole of the second half. I think Fred will replace Defoe. I think he might end up at Villa or Pompey. You going to Reading 2nite Rollo?
