Have you taken a look at last year's draft picks by the Krieg? It's hard to top Michalek, Perry and Pominville.

Oh, I didn't mean actual best picks, because that award would easily go to me with the 2005 rookie draft when I raped the league. In order it was T.Ruutu, Staal, Hamhuis, Martin, Horton, Semin, Fleury, Tyutin, D.Brown, Kesler, and Gleason. You could take any other 11 guys from that draft and not have a better group.

14. RAMRODS Darcy Hordichuck15. DEALERS Zach Parise.I made several attempts to trade up Parise to Hordichuck, but the Ramrods wanted an additional draft pick higher than the 2nd rounder i was willing to bundle, so the deals fell through.

Where are they now? I did make some big trades for players like Sakic, Kaberle, and Kubina you know :PAs for a cup, there was no actual season 7, we all went on vacation.

Funny, all the guys I drafted that year contributed to my cup win. Pitkanen, Backman, Lupul, Vermette and Stoll were all first or second round picks that year.

Sorry, I can't remember if the guys I drafted later in the draft actually helped with winning the cup. The only two I remember Sjostrom and Koltsov didn't help.
