Hey Film Fans! Check out the CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival 2007 this year from October 16-20 in New York’s Greenwich Village. It’s a great opportunity for film fans to enjoy best independent films/documentaries from around the world, as well as for the filmmakers to showcase their work alongside major studio releases from more well known filmmakers. The 12 year history CMJ has with the film festival is hugely diverse and has hosted premieres from Pulp Fiction to Borat as well as exclusive screenings of films including Fight Club, American History X, and Celebrity. In addition to getting to enjoy these works, lively post-screening discussions have been led by names like Quentin Tarantino, Wim Wenders, Harmony Korine, and Michael Moore.
