This week we have four new Original titles on DVD and Download and we have one ponytail up for auction on Ebay. Glenda has long curly hair and can’t wait for her big makeover. She smiles broadly as the barber lops off her long hair with clippers, dropping it all into her lap. With a guard attached a nice close perimeter is defined with the clippers. The top hair is blended with the shorter hair below creating a short layered boyish crop. Glenda smiles before, during and after her transformation. Next up is Juliet who is ready to lose all of her shoulder length hair. As her haircut is about to begin there is a power failure. This can’t stop our determined barber though. He begins by cutting all of Juliet’s hair down to ½” using scissor-over-comb technique. After adding some hot water the working area is ready for the straight razor. The barber carefully removes all of the hair from the left side, the back and then the right side. The top is the last to be shaved clean revealing Juliet’s nicely shaped head. Is it getting hot in here or is it just the power outage. Next is one of our favorite models from last year, Daphne, reprising her role with the same short asymmetric cut. Daphne’s hair has grown to shoulder length since last year and she is anxious to get it cut again. This year we take her to a very experienced stylist who is determined to make this one of our most fashionable makeovers ever. Professional makeup and eyebrow shaping are down and the cut can begin. The back is cut, then buzzed, then blended to match the desired style to perfection. The sides and top are cut and layered meticulously to give Daphne that most stylish asymmetric cut that we’ve ever offered. Warning, this cut last over 72 minutes and will take a long time to download. We were extremely lucky to see Daphne again and glad that she enjoyed this style so much. Her smile shows what a good time she had. Finally we have Hazel who was our very first model of this trip. Hazel has amazing hair, dark brown with reddish tones hanging to her waste. I was floored when she said she wanted a very short style. I know there are some bob lovers in the crowd so I thought it would be a great idea to give Hazel a short bob before going even shorter. We go to a barbershop where the barber first cuts off Hazel’s massive ponytail right at the nape. Hazel’s ponytail is up for auction on Ebay this week. Next the nape is buzzed and trimmed with clippers. Large scissors are placed right at lip level cutting a short bob angled higher in the back. The barber goes a bit higher on the second pass revealing the bottoms of Hazel’s earlobes. The finished look is a short angled bob with a buzzed nape.
