We all know the strength of public feeling against the continued use of ‘North Humberside’ by the Post Office. Now we need to demonstrate this to the bosses at the Royal Mail, who may be under the impression that it’s just a few lone voices calling for its removal. Please show your support by signing the online petition or by writing to the Post Office at the address provided. In the meantime, please feel free to use this forum to discuss this or any other issue.

It's not just the use of North Humberside that drives people to distraction, do not forget the use of South Humberside is just as annoying for residents in North Lincolnshire. It is no use campaigning for one and not the other: So long as one or other remains officially then the other will exist by virtue of this unofficially. To this end I started my own campaign sometime ago to rid the country of both North and South Humberside. Sign the petition on the 10 Downing Street Site.It can be found at:- http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/NotoHumbersideThe more people sign, for both campaigns, the nearer we will be to getting rid of them.
