Trying to find information of Elijah "Lige" Angel. Who had a meeting with the "Hanging Judge" Part of the "Ft Smith Criminal Cases of 1866-1900" for a charge of murder with others. Waiting not so patiently on the records from the National Archives. Do you know anything about him? He was born in Missouri and was probably in Oklahoma when this happened. His son was born in Oklahoma and mother had passed and he ended up in and orphanage. The sons name is Sterling William Angel.
