Has anyone heard of the term Sheriff's Guard? It might have been a special marshal hired by the town of Stilwell in the late 1890's to early 1900's. I have a piece of fabric that is embroidered with My great grandfathers name and Sheriff's Guard. My grandmother thought he was a special marshal but I haven't found his name with the list of lawmen. His name was Joseph P Willis and they lived in Stilwell. Thanks, Sharon
