Sam was stationed in Hartshorne, I.T., Choctaw Nation in the late 1880s.Too many legends without support as to his history. He is a great uncle. I am looking for any history as well as his burial place. |

SAM WINGO WAS COMMISSIONED ON JULY 21,AND IN OCTOBER OF 1885,IN THE WESTERN DISTRICT AT FT. SMITH ARKANSAS SERVING UNDER MARSHAL THOMAS BOLES,& ASSIGNED TO THE CHOCTAW NATION.
