One of our llamas hasn't eaten in 5 days. He drinks water frequently but won't eat a thing. I have only seen him have a bowel movement and urinate 1 time in the past 4 days. He still walks around a little but spends most of the time lying down. His stomach contracts and it looks like he wants to vomit but swallows it back down. We called the vet twice. The first time he said to give him B complex and penicillian. The second time he said to give him more penicillian and dexamethazone and mineral oil. I tried to give him the mineral oil but could only get a little into him. I need help. What could be wrong with him and how can I treat him?
