What a fun site - I'm not sure how I stumbled across it but I'm so glad I did! I lived in Greenville for a few years as a teen waaaaay back in the late 60s (Smitfield Junior High 7th & 8th grades and Smithfield High 9th and 10th grade). I fondly remember the drive-in theater on Rte. 44, going to Rocky Point in the summer and my older sister was a carhop at the A & W. That same sister also used to let me ride with her when she would street race in her boyfriend's GTO!Many years later I lived in Providence as an adult from 1989-93, part of the time in Olneyville then over on the East side near Hope Street. These days I live in South Florida (one of my work associates is from Cranston!) and I haven't been back since the late 90s but maybe one of these days when I travel to New England ...All the best y'all!

i have been in s. calif. since 1977 but i will always be a true rhode islander. when i go back, first thing i do is go to ziggy's in oakland beach, then dell's and then lobster rolls and baked stuff lobster. i find where my first love is cooking (tom ruggieri) and go to that restaurant for lobster. i grew up in gaspee point and always went quahogging as a kid, then we would take them home and my mother would make quahog gravy with macaroni. i sure miss r.i.
