Assistant Professor of Marketing Position
The University of North Carolina Wilmington announces an anticipated tenure-track position in Marketing at the Assistant Professor level, beginning Fall, 2007. Successful applicants should be committed to excellence in teaching and success in research/publication. The ideal candidate will have an interest in teaching at least two of the following: Marketing Research, International Marketing, Marketing Management or Principles of Marketing. Other specialty areas will also be considered. Candidates with an earned Ph.D. are preferred, but ABDs with completion of degree by August 1, 2007 will be considered.
UNCW boasts a beautiful 661 acre wooded campus with approximately 11,600 students, and is one of the fastest growing institutions in the University of North Carolina system. The Cameron School of Business is AACSB accredited. Sixty-six faculty members serve 1,957 business majors, including graduate students in the MBA, M.S. in Accounting, and M.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems programs. The Wilmington metropolitan area comprises approximately 200,000 people and features a thriving port, business community, and tourism industry. Bounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Fear River, Wilmington offers the best in coastal living.
