Right, who is definitely coming up for the Old Boys Game? I'm guessing Munchkin will be busy and Roberts will drop out at the last minute, but what about everyone else. There's plenty of notice so there's no excuses! |

Roberts had his arm in a sling when i saw him the other week so doubt he would be able to play in any case!! i will play warn you i am in deadly form averaging 47. hit 117 in the league this weekend hitting 14 fours and 3 sixes! it was far to hot to run! hows everyone elses seasons going? got any sutts? ralph? wakey? munch? wickets gimmley? |

not bee going too bad, got 3 wickets in 2 games bnut broke someones toe on saturday. the cunt hit me for six the ball before. im definitely up for old boys game. |

Playing properly, i batted 36overs for the 92 and about 30 for the 79. This masters in sports psychology is helping no end, my concentration has improved massively...its all in the head!! |

no your right mate! i worked out if i really concentrate and stay in for 30 overs you more or less have a hundred. You get the 100 and then go smash crazy. I wish someone had told me this like ages ago!all those night in the dog sutts where we had made 'beautiful' 20's someone should have said over a jug of Loaded Dog Lager lads "concentrate" and then we would have been different players!! its amazing really! |

Arm no longer in a sling but no cricket for a while yet, but since I sit my last exam tomorrow I am relatively free, so may pop up. Glad to know some of you having a good start to the year!! |

teed off on saturday!! Batting number 8 went in with a few overs to go hit 5 sixes on the bounce and bottled the 6th!! bit annoyed i didnt manage the 6 in a row!! 31* with 6 scoring shots. piglet bowled 12 overs 9 maidens 7 for 15 at the weekend. Somehow i think he was playing the blind! |

I'm in - I am staying with The Pitbull on the Sunday evening - Get Monday off fella's. The Loaded Dog, Plazza, and maybe a cheaky curry await. Golf on Monday for the golfers? Of course a Old Libary breakfast will also be required!! Get Ken to put the Team together! |

From Facebook we have Me, Adam, Piglet, Ralph, Wakey, Fingers, Gilhooley who can play cricket. Then there's Hanson and Ashton who try to, but can't due to lack of ability. So before people start dropping out we only have 7. Therefore we need to persuade a few of the others to come i.e. Crook, Jonesy, PJ, Pose, Jonty, Paras and Munchkin are a few i can think of. I only have contact details for Jonty and Paras so if others could get in contact with the remainding people and anyone else they can think of that would be good. |

Quick thank you to everyone who took part in the old boys game. Personal highlights include Wakeman pushing a single to Fat Nick at mid-on shouting "Its Fat Nick, run two", only for Fat Nick to kick down the stumps with Gerrard-like accuracy, Piglet's 'EAT IT!!' delivery, Hanson missing a straight one and getting a duck, and of course my perfect in-swinging delivery to the left-hander, going through McFly's defences to send his stumps cart-wheeling! |

Highlights for me included dancing on Varsitys bar until the early hours after probably one of the most epic games of the fag box games ever!! at one point having 6 jugs with only 7 players when last orders had been called! then of course there was the Ken 'sloughgate' incident. Of course you can get home at half three Ken! lol well his dad did him a favour picking him up from queens road at 4am. Even better work was my uncle dropping him back in time for breakfast! Thanks to Hanson and Maddy for going 'threes up' with me it was emotional! I am sorry for snoring and taking up half the bed. I did enjoy scoring half of our runs I only wish that someone could have supported lol. Fat nick refusing to walk after he snicked behind off my first ball was a bit naughty of him! good catch by ken! good night both nights how piglet got up and drove to work is beyond me! lets all meet up again soon. Congrats to Ralph for finding a female with her own teeth and a pulse who is willing to go out with him. she seemed like a lovely girl! |
