I would like to know more about the area where my great,great,great grandparents came from, Arne Ruste and Siri Klevgaard Ruste. came to Wisconsin USA in about 1840s. and or if Gulbran Gulbradson is from this area. He is also a Great,Great,Great Grandfather but I don't know where this part of the family is from.any help would be nice. you can e-mail me anytime. |

This family may have come from Etnedal, Valdres, Norway. Check ancestry.com's family listings for free at your local library. There is an Arne Arneson whose son was Anton Ruste. They lived in the Blue Mounds and Ridgeway area of Dane County, Wisconsin. |

Who was the spouse of your Gulbran Gulbrandson? Where and what time period are you interested in. Do you know a farm name? |

I may have some information, my Dad (Andrew 80)still living grew up in Blue Mounds, His Dad Anton did alot of mason work at the cave and around the area, His work is most noted by the red/pinkish now colored mortor. |
