I could not read it straight through, I had to put it down so my mind could work through the horrific journey she walked in this life. I can't wait to see portrayed on the big screen, who is playing Precious? My question is this, how could a mother allow this to happen? or better yet what kind of mother could allow this to happen?
Janice	posted 10/27/09 1:04 PM     Another thought on this story of shame, disgust, incest, rape, illeracy, hate, and intelligence, it is about overwhelming achievement against unbelieveable odds. By all accounts, Clareece Precious Jones should be dead. But she beat the odds and made it to this place and told her story so now we know the story and we all should be thinking about what we can do to try to ensure this does not happen to anyone else. I think - Precious will never be forgotten now. I also wonder about Abdul?
